Martin Baumohl, OD

Martin J. Baumohl, O.D. is a certified therapeutic optometrist who specializes in performing comprehensive, dilated eye examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Baumohl is directly involved with the pre-operative and post-operative care of cataract surgery and laser vision correction patients. He determines spectacle lens prescriptions and has a special proficiency with contact lens fittings, binocular vision and the diagnosis and management of glaucoma.

Dr. Baumohl brought more than eight years of optometric experience to Mann Eye Institute in 1999. He earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he graduated with honors. He also graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Maryland.

Dr. Baumohl is a member of the American, Texas, and Harris County Optometric Associations, in addition to the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
