Z-LASIK is a LASIK procedure performed with the Ziemer FEMTO LDV Femtosecond Surgical Laser in conjunction with any one of the leading excimer lasers featured at Mann Eye Institute and Laser Center. With the combined use of breakthrough lasers and diagnostic analysis systems, Z-LASIK provides the best currently available treatment for superior vision correction.

Z-LASIK is a completely different treatment in fundamental ways. Compared to current conventional femtolasers, the FEMTO LDV operates at higher pulse rates with lower pulse energies and delivery optics that are very tightly focused for maximum tissue disruption in the focal spot and no thermal or radiation effects to the surrounding tissue. Unlike other femtolaser-based treatments, Z-LASIK is a highly integrated procedure, allowing Drs. Mike and Paul Mann to perform LASIK with minimal procedure times and optimal visual outcomes.
