Monique “Nikki” Bennett, O.D. specializes in primary eye care with an emphasis on corrective eye wear including contact lenses and glasses and ocular disease. Dr. Bennett completed her Bachelor of Science in Zoology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI, where she received the Wisconsin Parametric Association’s Parametric of the Year Award. She then received her Doctor of Optometry from Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, School of Optometry in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Bennett is fluent in Spanish and during her externship program, she completed eye exams in Spanish, as well as specialty rotations in cataract and refractive surgery co-management, Neuro-Optometry, Pediatrics and the management of Glaucoma and Dry Eye Syndrome.
She is a proud member of the Rotary Club of Humble, a member of the Harris County Optometric Association and a volunteer for Opening Eyes division of Special Olympics.
In her free time, Dr. Bennett enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, son, Vaughn, and rescue pup, Vada. She is an avid crafter, live music junkie, and sports fanatic.
