Monique Bennett, O.D. specializes in primary eye care with an emphasis on corrective eye wear including contact lenses and glasses and ocular disease. Dr. Bennett completed her Bachelor of Science in Zoology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI, where she received the Wisconsin Parametric Association’s Parametric of the Year Award. She then received her Doctor of Optometry from Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, School of Optometry in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Bennett is fluent in Spanish and during her externship program, she completed eye exams in Spanish, as well specialty rotations in specialty contact lenses, cataract and refractive surgery co-management, Neuro-Optometry, and the management of Glaucoma and Dry Eye Syndrome.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and a volunteer for Opening Eyes division of Special Olympics.
