Tanaka D. Taylor, O.D., is a Mann Eye Institute therapeutic optometrist specializing in primary eye care. She treats patients at the Mann Eye Institute Pearland office, which patients can find at West Pearland Medical Center II, 10223 Broadway Street, Suite J in Pearland, TX.
As a primary eye care provider, Dr. Taylor conducts comprehensive eye exams, treats common vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism, and prescribes glasses and contact lenses. She also offers management of glaucoma and is a certified glaucoma specialist.
Dr. Taylor received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas at Austin and her doctor of optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where she was awarded a Letter of Excellence for her academic performance and named to the prestigious Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Fraternity.
Dr. Taylor is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. She is a volunteer with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America.
