MYE Drop

Your Eyes Deserve More Than Artificial Tears

If you’ve been living with chronic dry eye, you’ve probably tried the drops. Maybe prescription medications too. And if you’re still here, still searching, you know that for many people, those options just aren’t enough.

MYE Drop is different. It’s a personalized eye drop therapy made entirely from your own blood, designed to do something artificial tears simply can’t: actually help your eye surface heal.

What Are MYE Drops?

MYE Drop is a revolutionary, preservative-free biological eye drop treatment made entirely from your own blood. Using a process called Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, MYE Drops contain a high concentration of platelets suspended in plasma, delivering the same healing growth factors, proteins, and vitamins naturally found in your tear film, directly to your eye surface.

Unlike conventional eye drops, MYE Drops contain no preservatives, additives, or stabilizers. They are completely natural and personalized to you.

Who It’s For?

Patients with moderate to severe dry eye, post-surgical dry eye (LASIK/PRK), autoimmune-related dry eye (Sjogren’s, Lupus, Thyroid), and anyone who hasn’t found relief with conventional treatments.

Why MYE Drops Are So Good

Healthy tears are rich in growth factors, proteins, and vitamins that keep your eye surface healthy. MYE Drop mimics and replenishes those exact components, delivering 4x the platelet concentration of whole blood directly where healing needs to happen.

No preservatives. No additives. No foreign ingredients. Just your body’s own biology, working for your eyes.

Is This Right for Me?

MYE Drop may be a good fit if you identify with one or more of the following:

If you checked even one of these boxes, MYE Drop may be worth discussing at your next appointment.

How It All Works

Step 1
Blood Draw

A small amount of blood is collected from your arm by a certified medical professional. The entire process takes about 45 minutes.

Step 2
Processing

Your blood is placed in a centrifuge, which spins it at a precise speed to separate and concentrate the platelet-rich plasma layer, resulting in 4x the platelet concentration found in whole blood.

Step 3
Preparation

The concentrated MYE Drop is carefully transferred into sterile amber glass bottles in a controlled, sterile environment, preserving its biological integrity every step of the way.

Step 4
Take Home

You leave with 12–14 individually labeled dropper bottles, a full 3-month supply packaged in a custom MYE Drop box, ready to use.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

We want you to feel completely comfortable before, during, and after your MYE Drop appointment. Here’s what a typical visit looks like:

Before You Arrive

No special preparation is required. Simply come well-hydrated, as this makes the blood draw easier and more comfortable.

When You Arrive

You’ll complete a brief consent form, and your identity will be confirmed. Your provider will review your health history to ensure MYE Drop is appropriate for you.

The Blood Draw (5–10 minutes)

A certified medical professional will draw a small amount of blood from your arm, similar to a routine lab draw. Twelve small collection tubes will be filled.

Processing (approximately 30 minutes)

You’re free to wait comfortably while your blood is processed in the office. The centrifuge separates your blood into layers, concentrating the platelet-rich plasma that becomes your MYE Drops.

Before You Leave

Your 12–14 labeled amber glass bottles are packaged in your personal MYE Drop box along with instructions on how to store and use them. Your provider will walk you through everything.

Follow-Up

We’ll schedule a follow-up visit around 4–8 weeks to monitor your progress and answer any questions.

Total time: approximately 45 minutes

Autologous serum drops are a step in the right direction, but because platelets are removed during their preparation, much of the healing potential is lost. MYE Drop preserves and concentrates those platelets, delivering a richer, more complete biological treatment.

When Will I Notice Results?

Every patient is different, and the severity of your dry eye condition plays a role in how quickly you respond to treatment. Your provider will monitor your progress at your 4–8 week follow-up and can speak to what improvement typically looks like for patients with your specific condition.

We will update this section with clinical outcome data as our patient experience grows.

Is It Safe? What About Sterility?

These are fair questions, and important ones. Here’s what you should know:

It’s your own blood. Because MYE Drops are derived entirely from your own blood, the risk of allergic reaction or rejection is not anticipated. There are no foreign substances involved.

Sterility is taken seriously at every step. The glass dropper bottles are sterilized in an autoclave before use. Staff wear sterile gloves and personal protective equipment throughout preparation. The workspace is disinfected before and after every patient. All materials are handled and discarded according to strict biohazard protocols.

Your drops are yours alone. Each bottle is labeled with your name. MYE Drops must not be shared with anyone, as blood-based products carry risk of disease transmission between individuals.

No preservatives means careful storage matters. Because there are no preservatives to inhibit bacterial growth, proper refrigeration and freezing protocols are essential, and your provider will walk you through exactly how to store and handle your drops safely at home.

Why PRP Over Autologous Serum?

If you’ve heard of autologous serum drops, PRP therapy takes the concept further. PRP contains significantly more growth factors because platelets, the key drivers of tissue healing, are preserved rather than removed during processing. PRP is also not diluted with saline, keeping the concentration of healing factors fully intact. Research suggests PRP therapy delivers more potent anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects for the ocular surface than autologous or allogeneic serum tears.

What the Research Says

Clinical evidence supports PRP eye drops as effective for treating moderate to severe ocular surface disease, including dry eye, persistent epithelial defects, recurrent corneal erosions, limbal cell deficiency, cicatricial conjunctivitis, and LASIK-induced dry eye. Studies have also demonstrated PRP’s ability to promote healing of dormant corneal ulcers and significantly reduce the recurrence of corneal erosions in patients with epithelial basement membrane dystrophy.

What Patients Ask Most About MYE Drops

Since MYE Drops are made from your own blood and contain no preservatives or additives, side effects are not anticipated.

Yes, MYE Drop can be used as a standalone therapy or alongside immunomodulators and in-office treatments.

Patients with conditions that affect platelet count or overall health, including aplastic anemia, idiopathic thrombocytopenia, leukemia, or those undergoing aggressive chemotherapy, may not be candidates. Your doctor will review your health history prior to proceeding.

No. MYE Drop is prepared in the office and is not available through pharmacies.
