Divya Pillai, OD, FAAO

Dr. Divya Pillai is a residency trained therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist with expertise in managing complex ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and pre and post operative care. She also have a passion for treating dry eye disease.

Dr. Pillai received a bachelor’s degree at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and received a doctorate of optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry. Throughout her time in school, she was involved in limbal stem cell deficiency research. Dr. Pillai completed a residency in ocular disease/primary care at the VA Boston and has presented research/clinical work at national conferences.

Dr. Pillai is a fellow of the American academy of optometry and a member of the American optometric association and Texas optometric association. She is passionate about connecting with patients and taking the time to listen to patients and their concerns regarding their sight. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her friends/family.
