Ashitha Mathew, OD

Dr. Ashitha Mathew is a Therapeutic and Glaucoma Specialist Optometrist who grew up in the DFW metroplex in Texas. She completed her Bachelors in Business Administration with a minor in Biology at the University of Texas at Richardson and received her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Houston.

While in school, she studied the treatment of ocular disease for the underserved population in Fort Worth, Texas at the Community Eye Clinic, as well as provided primary optometry care for the rural East Texas population at Golden Eye Clinic.

As a therapeutic optometrist, Dr. Mathew practices primary care, including the pediatric and geriatric populations, is well versed in the latest management techniques of both anterior and posterior segment eye diseases and enjoys specialty contact lens fittings.

Outside of work, Dr. Mathew enjoys exploring the outdoors, gardening, working on craft projects, and cooking.
