LASIK Must-Knows

Where to Go and Everything You Need to Know

At Mann Eye Institute, we understand that having LASIK is a big decision. And where you choose to have it is the biggest part of that decision. At Mann Eye Institute, we want you to See Life Better. Our All-Laser LASIK might be the solution you’ve been looking for.

You probably have questions. No worries. We have answers.

How Does LASIK Actually Work?

LASIK works by changing the shape of your cornea, which changes the way images focus on your retina. It’s technically a two-step process: Creating a small flap on the cornea, and reshaping the corneal surface, all in just a few minutes. The result? Bye-bye glasses and contacts! He-LOOOOO sharp-eyed vision.

How Do I Know if LASIK is Right for Me?

The good news is that it probably is (yay!) but there is no sure-fire way of knowing until we see your eyes. Your FREE LASIK consultation is a thorough, high-tech eye exam with many different diagnostic tests that will tell us definitively if LASIK is right for you.

What Kind of Technology is Used in LASIK?

We use the latest bladeless, all-laser LASIK technology, expertly selected by our surgical team for proven results. Any team member is happy to walk you through all the bells and whistles of our laser systems! Don’t allow anyone to shortchange you when it comes to your eyes!

Would You Perform LASIK on Your Own Family Member or Have it Yourself?

YES! We have performed LASIK on many other doctors, each other and our own family members. If your surgeon can’t answer yes, it’s time to look elsewhere!

Where can I find patient testimonials?

Will I have to pay for follow-up visits?

NO WAY! The all-inclusive price that you’re quoted at the time of your free consultation is all you’ll pay! Be wary of too-good-to-be-true pricing on LASIK; those practitioners are likely to nickel and dime you later.

Can LASIK “Wear Off”?

NOPE! LASIK doesn’t wear off. If your vision changes over time, however, it could be due to age and we can help with that, too!

Will I meet my surgeon before surgery?

YES! At Mann Eye Institute, you’re not a number. You’re family! Our experienced surgeons absolutely will meet you before the big day.

Are YOU ready to…

See Life Better?
