In 1977, a gallon of gas averaged 79 cents, “Hotel California” was a new song, and the first mass-produced home computer, the Apple II, went on sale.

That’s also the year Dr. Mike Mann opened the doors of his first Mann Eye Institute office.

It’s hard to believe that was 40 years ago. A lot has changed since then, but one thing remains the same:

When you walk through our door, you’re family. And that’s exactly how you’ll be treated.

That’s the philosophy on which Mann Eye Institute was founded. Ten clinics, two surgery centers, five LASIK suites and eight additional locations later, that’s the foundation on which Mann Eye still stands.

That’s Dr. Mike Mann in 1977 at the groundbreaking of the first Mann Eye Institute office. And while he’s still just as dapper today and wears a suit just as well, there’s one thing he no longer has from this picture…GLASSES!

Wish you didn’t have to wear glasses (or contacts) too?

(Pssst…it involves MAJOR savings on All-Laser LASIK).
