Mann Eye wants our patients to know we are aware of the order Governor Abbott signed June 25, 2020 to suspend elective surgeries in hospitals in Dallas, Travis, Bexar, and Harris counties. This order is intended to help preserve hospital beds for COVID-19 patients. This order does not pertain to our Ambulatory Surgery Centers or LASIK surgery facilities as we are not a hospital. Our procedures, when performed in accordance with the commonly accepted standards of clinical practice, do not deplete any hospital capacity.

We are continuing to monitor all changes by state and local agencies that may pertain to our patients and staff. Mann Eye is still seeing all clinic patients and performing all elective surgeries. We also continue to practice safe patient interaction through social distancing policies, requiring face coverings as stated by the Texas Medical Board, screening patients upon entry, and asking that only patients come to the appointment unless a caretaker or driver is needed.

We hope that all our patients continue to stay safe and healthy during these challenging times. You are part of the Mann Eye family and we will do everything we can to help keep you safe while in our office and to help you See Life Better!

Sincerely,
