Dr. Ryan Abilmouna is a Therapeutic and Glaucoma Specialist Optometrist. Dr. Abilmouna is a Houston native, and attended the University of Houston, where he graduated in honors in Biology. While attending the University Of Houston College Of Optometry, he completed an ocular disease rotation through Bridge Builders healthcare center in Dallas and primary care at the Naval Medical Hospital in San Diego.
Dr. Abilmouna has specialized in the treatment of both acute and chronic eye diseases including emergency eye care, diabetes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. He is proficient in utilizing innovative diagnostic equipment to analyze candidacy for laser vision correction as well as cataract surgery. In addition, he taught as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University Of Houston College Of Optometry.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing basketball, attending sporting events, and spending time with his friends and family.
Dr. Abilmouna is fluent in Spanish.
